Not sure how the CBA stuff is gonna mess with signing free agents this off season but I know we need some linebacker help. Here are a few options. Chad Greenway (Min), Lamarr Woodley (Pit), James Anderson (Car) or Tamba Hall (KC). I think Greenway is my first choice but any of these guys would be a nice pickup!

I agree, OLB is a HUGE need. What about Rocky McIntosh? He's not a star, but he's definitely solid; drafted in 2006 with Gregg Williams as Washington's D-coordinator, so he'd be comfortable here; it makes sense. Sign him, then draft one in the 3rd round (doesn't look like there will be one available in the first 2 rounds that wouldn't be considered a reach, unless someone happens to fall unexpectedly far).

I am so confused... who is Simpkjo?

McIntosh really didn't have a good year! I believe he had trouble adjusting to his new defense just like his teammate Mr. Haynesworth! I like Shanle but I just don't think he should be starting so just bout anybody would be an upgrade!

a 1-10-11 phenomenon
hopefully 1/11/11, the phenom is gone.

Like I said, McIntosh isn't a star, but he's solid, and would come at a much cheaper price tag than guys like Woodley (who isn't going to leave the Steelers anyway)

smh...do you people even watch football?

Yea, I would def welcome him to the team! Clark and Shanle are seviceable and play good but not consistent enough! It would just be nice to have another star out there to help Vilma!

Hall was a solid pass rusher this year! He's kinda one dimentional but that's one more dimention than we got right now!

Hali was a solid pass rusher, so is Woodley
but they are both 270lb+ 3-4 OLB. Both are former defensive ends.
neither are LB's that fit in a 4-3 defense.

Well Hulk, from the looks of these message boards, this Simpkjo guy is a moron, so please do not lump me in. I just joined today and I'd prefer to not have my reputation crushed. I actually know what I'm talking about. lol

I'd be okay with that in the 3rd round, especially if we grab Nevis in the 1st round... they'd be comfortable playing with each other, that's for sure
