Just fyi, since the Tigers open at Cowboy Stadium Fall 2011. For the Cotton Bowl we took a little chance and searched the internet for a reasonable room/rate and stayed at The Admiral. It was decent. Not fancy but clean, safe, comfortable, and i think the rate was $99. Lots of Tiger fans there so maybe this isn't a secret. Very close to the stadium and easy to get to and from. Outdoor pool looked nice. Limited food service but close to a gazillion restaurants. www.admiralfw.com

Correct, Tiger 91 - took a chance on that particular hotel, since it wasn't a recognizable name/chain. We noted that there were a good many reviews on-line, several of them very recent, and they were complimentary. Since we were going to be a quick in and out (TWSS), we didn't want to drop a chunk of cash on something over-priced or jacked up for the bowl game. Anywho, the point is, it was fine and here's the info, FWIW, for your LSU-Oregon booking consideration. the end.
