Bielema and Strong. Bielema isn't a Wisconsin guy (played at Iowa) so I think he would listen to an offer. Strong is really good coach that knows the SEC and has recruiting ties to the state of Florida.

These aren't my top 2 but are both in my top 5:

Patterson
Mullen
Bielema
Strong
Sumlin

All I know is somebody is going to get keys to a Ferrari. I hope they know how to drive it...

i find this whole thing unseemly, we have a coach, hes very good, the people who sit around dreaming about replacing him annoy the piss out of me, but i have to admit Bielama is an interesting name.

does Wisconsin have the resources for him to ever win a NC, bc we sure as hell know LSU does.

I do not want Miles to leave. Not at all. Just thinking of other names out there that could be good replacements if he leaves.

Patterson just signed an extension through 2018 at 3 mil per year plus incentives. He loves TCU. Unless Texas job opens up i do not see him leaving TCU.

I think charlie Strong may be one of the best available hires. He is a great recruiter. Proven defensive guy. But only 1 year head coach experience but he did pretty well turning around
a bad Louisville team.

He is tearing up recruiting for Louisville. Obviously he would do much better at LSU.

We already have a great coach, albeit a bit eccentric.

Bielema is a d-bag along the lines of Pelini that needs to grow up.

living in wisconsin, i can tell you hiring bielema at lsu is like michigan hiring rodriguez. doesn't fit. up until this year, everyone was basically ready to get rid of him as well. biggest complaint is he is not a strong recruiter.

If Les Miles leaves for Michigan I want Bielema there in Wisconsin, making his life miserable year after year with a juggernaut offense

yeah i should prolly relax a little.

people have been trying to run Miles out of town for 6 years, it gets annoying, and now is their moment to really shine with all the obvious home run coaches they have in mind who will step right in and do better than 10 wins a year

That Ferrari you speak of is 14-10 in the SEC the last 3 years. We also have no West Titles in that time. LSU is a good job but it ain't a Ferrari. I believe we can hire a good coach. Maybe even a coach nobody is even thinking of. Let's not make Miles out to be an infallible coach. Coming out of OSU he was a good hire, but not exactly a popular one.
