He knows that he still has not earned the respect of half of the fan base. The dude is 62-17 or something like that and is still bashed on a regular basis. Some fans actually hate him. He gets booed all the time during games. Trust me, he is aware of where he stands in the minds of a good portion of the fans. Also, he is 2-2 against Saban and 3-3 against Meyer and can leave knowing he did a nice job against 2 of the best that the SEC had to offer.

Do you think it will be any easier on him in Michigan?

This will have nothing to do with it.

The negatigers might.

Damn sure wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone. He's a wildly entertaining pain in my arse.

I do. At this point, they would cream in their pants just to beat Ohio St.

That's a lie. I go to all the games. He gets booed every once in a while (Tennessee comes to mind)...a series here or there. Nothing different than any other coach in America...

EXACTLY. At Michigan he will see the end of his great recruiting classes. At Michigan he will be Ohio State's little brother. At Michigan he will be exposed. But when he leaves it sure will be fun to watch all these "positigers" turn into "negatigers". A good portion of them already have!

Also if he goes to Michigan and fails at reviving that program it could be a career killer for him coaching at major colleges

Don't get me wrong, Dickrod sucked, but they gave him basically 2 years to completely install and entirely new game...

They don't give a frick if you don't have a single player that runs your kind of offense, they want you to win from day 1.

Yes. Rich Rod was on the 2010 Hot Seat for an 8-16 record. Miles was on the 2010 Hot Seat for a 9-4 #17 ranked team.

Michigan doesn't crap on winning coaches, LSU does.

I doubt this. He will have a monstrous advantage over every B-10 coach. He is already well known and well liked in the south. He will still be able to recruit the south well. He won't steal enough players to really harm any SEC schools, but he should get enough to ensure that Michigan has SEC quality players. Frankly, if you drop an SEC team into the midst of the B-10, he's going to flat out own the conference.

Hard to earn respect when you look like your head is up your arse on the sideline so often.
