2 does here, came out downwind of me a picked up my scent. They jumped back in the woods and are blowing like crazy at me. They haven't left yet. Maybe they will come back out

I thought about hunting mid day today but it was pretty dark last night here. Very little moon light, thought I'd give em a try this morning. Bringing my daughter back this afternoon, shooting big bucks only then. Don't want to miss any of the game tonight.

Friend in stand 400 yards away just shot 8 pt. His 7mm rattled my stand. Looks like my hunt is over soon. Well that was quick. lol
He said it is nice and came from my direction but I never saw it.

318, if you got busted and the does are blowing, you can pack it in. Every deer within two miles here's that warning call and you're screwed this day my man!

Saw a big doe this am on the way to work at the Abita exit. North west side of the exit on the edge of the clearing. Wish I was in the woods.

Samething happen to us about a month ago 30 mins later my daughter shot a 8 pt. I'm gonna give it a little while longer but it ain't looking good today

Deer don't get scared that much by gunshots. I shot at a deer earlier this year and 10 minutes later an 8pt came out. I busted his arse. I've shot deer several times and had deer walk out shortly after. I wouldn't give up if I were you.

yea shots dont matter killed a doe earlier this year and started seeing deer 5 min later. dropped her in the pile of soybeans she was eating at, before the hunt was over 7 deer ate on the soybeans she was dead on

Bro I've been there this year. Put in 8 hours one day and no sighting. Rough.
Got one doe last friday. Worst year I can remember. I'm back out for the last three days of the year bone hunting. Think it's kinda pointless today in this damn wind though
