Would it be a bad idea for Chavis..

To get a chance to be our head coach in the instance Miles go to Michigan? Haven't seen anybody else ask this question(didn't do a thorough search). Flame away!

It's a thought, but only that.......he does not want to be the head coach........and I would have mixed emotions if he were head coach, but if Muschamp can be one....sure why not.......

Coaches who have been assistance their whole career are that way for a reason. Some coaches are not made to be in complete control. If Chavis was going to be a successful head coach he would have already been one.

That ship sailed for Chavis a long time ago if there was ever any interest in a HC job at all. He has been a d-coordinator for so long that I don't think he would have any interest in it.
