Anyone have any other sites out there showing this possible arctic blast? Ran across this earlier on a weather site showing a serious chance of a wicked Arctic event that could be brewing for the mid south, although I'm not a good enough weather geek to interpret some of this stuff.

Weather Site

Accuweather had a blurb on it today and these must be the same models they are pulling from. Highs of teens and lower twenties for cities as far south as Dallas/Shreveport is what some of these models shows. This could be some serious duck hunting weather for us here in LA. Anything rivaling either 83' or 89' type blasts would be unreal.

Dallas NWS

Supposedly sometime mid next week. Apparently models are in almost total agreement here which is what is indicating the possible record cold. I personally don't trust these kinds of forecasts but apparently there is some precedent with these models and previous record cold spells. Could be real interesting with the lack of water and food sources if they get locked up.

Nice. My dad is finally finding scrapes on our hunting land and said the rut is starting to heat up. I'm pretty excited even though the deer where we hunt don't get too big because of the lack of hardwoods.

I dont know the name. It was a paper company land or whatever had like 85 members or something stupid. It was toward Bay Minette i believe.

International paper probably owns it. Or did. Gateswood hunting club maybe. I hunt right in that area.
