Humperdinks is the offical DFW LSU party...

Pre-Game Tailgate Party
Friday, January 7th 8:00 AM CST until...

Humperdinks at 700 Six Flags Dr in Arlington, TX (817-640-8553) will be the Official LSU Alumni Pre-game Tailgate Party for the 2011 Cotton Bowl and is open to ALL LSU Fans and Alumni. Due to a number of restrictions on tailgating at Cowboys Stadium, we are using the LSU Tarrant Tigers' watch party location for our tailgate party. Humperdinks provides a number of advantages for LSU fans:

•Humperdinks' craft brewed beers, a special "Tiger Brew", and national beers
•An extensive menu including a Tiger Brunch menu for those arriving early
•With the unpredictable weather in January, Humperdinks provides an indoor venue as well as heated patios
•Free parking and $10 round-trip shuttles to and from the game
•60+ televisions to watch the Cotton Bowl for fans that do not have tickets
•Will be open after the game until 2:00am

Friday's tailgate will begin with a Live Broadcast of "The Press Box Show with Jimmy Ott" for 1210 The Score in Baton Rouge and a special "Tiger Brunch" menu. The live broadcast will air from 9am until 12 noon. Following the live broadcast, LSU's own Kevin "Big Daddy" will be DJ'ing all afternoon until 5:00pm. In addition to a personally selected music list, Kevin will also play zydeco music occasionally and certainly will play LSU fight songs to get us fired up and intimidate any Aggies that dare to enter!

Cost
There is no cost to attend the LSU Alumni Tailgate Party, other than charges you incur at Humperdinks for food and drinks. However representatives of the Dallas and Fort Worth LSU Alumni Chapters will be soliciting a minimum $5 per person tax deductible donation (cash or check) to their LSU Scholarship Funds. We encourage you to support the hard work of the two local chapters in coordinating the Cotton Bowl events and at the same time support LSU scholarships. Chapter members will be wearing special alumni name tags to help you identify them.

Parking
Free Parking will be available to all those who attend the tailgate party. Additionally, valet parking will be available for $5 (cash only). The Humperdinks parking lot and their overflow across the street can accommodate 500+ cars. However it is not within walking distance to the stadium.

Shuttle Service
Round trip shuttle service to Cowboys Stadium will be provided from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for $10 per person (cash only). The shuttles run on a schedule and will begin services at 3:00pm and go every 30 minutes until 7:00 pm. Tickets for the shuttle go on sale at 1:00pm at the front door of Humperdinks and the tickets available for each scheduled ride will be on a "first come first serve" basis. You may pre-purchase your shuttle ticket by emailing jamesmonroe@ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Please include your name, the time you wish to depart, how many passes you will need and a contact phone #. You will be called within 24 hours to confirm your reservation and process your credit card. Be sure to keep your ticket for shuttle service back to Humperdinks after the game.

I got ours on ebay. They were about $50/each.

Lots open at noon, not 2 pm. The 2 pm starttime is the official NFL rules, but they waived those.

We are getting there at 8 am to park on the curb and set up our tailgate, and when they open we'll swing our car around in front of our tailgate.
