I'd take that down ASAP. It's some type of predatory bird and most if not all are illegal to shoot.

Why would you kill a bird that you couldn't identify, if you knew it obviously wasn't a duck? Are you planning to eat it?

chill guys. I was curious what the fine was for killing a bald eagle and I found this article LINK

apparently only $6,250...I thought it would have been a huge fine?

i think if i were going to kill a bald eagle, either if i knew what it was when i shot it or if i wasnt sure and didnt want to get caught, i would probably do more than "hide it behind a tree"

Isn't the fine for killing a black bear in LA some huge number? Why would the fine for killing an animal THAT important be so small in comparison?
