From College Football News, which is pretty reputable when picking college games, all the pickers have LSU winning with a high confidence factor:

quote:

OVERALL CONFIDENCE (35 most - 1 least): 33 out of 35

Pete Fiutak: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 23
Richard Cirminiello: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 16
Matt Zemek: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 15
Russ Mitchell: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 31
Barrett Sallee: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 16
Gabe Harris: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 26
Brian Harbach: Pick ATS - LSU Pick Confidence - 32

I would have thought at least a couple would have picked A&M or at least a few being much lower on the confidence factor.

i'm just concerned that A/M wants this one more. it's such an important factor in a bowl game. They're trying to solidify an ascendency and we are a bit disappointed having missed an opportunity for a BCS bowl. But Miles does a good job in bowls, so we'll see.

LSU hasn't shown the offensive power to throttle anyone. Most of the nation will be surprised at how good LSU looks in this game.

Not true. I used their advice a couple of times this year and bet A&M heavy - and won.

These guys have no aganda other than to be accurate. No tickets to sell, no airtime to sell, no BCS to undermine...........very credible.

Their picks reflect the perceived strength of the SEC as opposed to the Big 12-2. I agree with them. aTm is a good, solid team but I think they'd have gone about 7-5 against LSU's schedule this year.

...we both lost to arkansas

aTm lost to arky in jerrys (arkansas grad) world

we, LSU, lost to arky in little rock (the rock clinton established)

both "neutral" sites (both arkansas friendly)

just some interesting thoughts (i voted republican)

Wouldn't Jerry's World be more A&M friendly than Arkansas friendly?

ohooooh, but of course my dominative leader. long have i been familiar with the exactitudes of the neutral field world.

lets look at the game again...

video of the game

seems to me aTm had a decent crowd... but the cheers sounded louder for the pigs as they took the field. jerry may have given a discount on tickets to the arkansas faithful!

I am getting too old. I thought that game footage was real, up until the band left the field.

Meaningless. This will be a close football game, maybe the best bowl matchup of the year.
