So we all know that Eric Martin was the last LSU player to return a kickoff in Tiger Stadium vs. Kentucky in 1981. Assuming that the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year in Patrick Peterson will be heading to the NFL, who is most likely to break this 20 year long streak and take it to the house?

You should clarify- he was the last LSU player to do it. Bo Carroll of Florida took one back in 1999.

Eric Martin in Tiger Sradium and Jerry Stovall at Georgia Tech. I cannot remember any more Kickoff Returns for TD's.

Crazy that we've had a few in away venues, but none at home the last 30 years.

Adding to "recent" away game kickoff returns, Kevin Faulk vs. Notre Dame, 1998; and Trindon vs. Arkansas, 2006.

With all of the really good KRs LSU has had in the last 15-20 years (Kinchen, Kennison, Faulk, Dominick Davis, Skyler, Trindon, PP7), it really is amazing that none of them has taken one to the house. Given the talent I just listed couldn't do it, it's impossible to say who will in the future.

Dominick Davis

He came somewhat close once. I think he took the opening kickoff vs. Tulane in 2001, to like the 25. Then Toefield took it in the very first play from scrimmage.

Jarvis Landry would be ideal for the spot
