Can someone verify my attempt at Mile's record against all current active SEC coaches at their current jobs, Meyer included.

EAST

Joker Philips KY 0-0
Derek Dooley Tenn 1-0
???????? interim coach Vandy 1-0
Mark Richt Georgia 1-2
Urban Meyer FL 3-3
Steve Spurrier SC 2-0

Bobby Petrino Arky 1-1
Houston Nutt Ole Miss 1-1
Nick Saban UA 2-2
Dan Mullen Miss St 2-0
Gene Chizik 1-1

Overall
15-10 against the active coaches of the SEC

Whose better?

Chizik and Saban? If so, not for long.

Why include Meyer and the Vandy coach who resigned?

Because there is no other data points yet, LSU played both those teams this year, and Meyer is still coaching thru bowl.

Stephen spurrier. Leslie miles. Nicholas saban

But then they put Bobby and Robby.

If you're going to put obnoxious first names that no one goes by, at least be consistent

Except I think their actual birth names are really Bobby and Robbie. I'm not going to make up a more formal sounding name when it doesn't exist.

This is true for Nutt at OM, but I think you have to include Nutt's time at AU. Miles have an overall record of 3-2 against Nutt.

All this proves in the SEC is that any team can beat any other team on any given Saturday or whenever they play. I have seen teams that where head and shoulders better than the other team and that other team win by 2 or 3 TDs. So records are good but if you do not have the trophies at the end of the year to back it up with then all you have is a record. Trophies mean more than any record by itself but, put the trophy with the record and that record supports that trophy.

Who has the most hardware over any given period of time and that will tell you the consistancy of the teams ability to compete with anyone. Show me the hardware anyday. LSU and Florida has had the best team records over the last ten years in the SEC they have 2 crytal balls apiece and until someone else does it they are the best in the SEC over the last 10 years.
