On my show this morning, we were talking about coaching changes and my co-host that is a michigan state guy and is connected with big ten rivals writers is certain that rich rod is gone after the bowl. we all agreed that harbaugh would likely be their first choice and he will say no and probably end up the 49ers coach next year. he said the 2nd call would be to miles and he believes miles would take the job this time. We argued back and forth on both points.

So what do you guys think?

Would Miles be the 2nd choice for Michigan if it opened?

and

Would he accept the job this time?

one of his points was that miles would leave based on not being appreciated by the fans of lsu. i argued that i don't think he is that insecure. plus he is primed to win a lot of games the next few years if mett is the real deal ans michigan is big rebuilding project at this point.

He actually does a pretty good job with that, better than I do with purple and gold glasses sometimes.

I heard an interview with Miles several years ago where he told a story about talking to his old coach about taking the LSU job and his love for Michigan. He said Coach Schembechler told him to make LSU his Michigan. This story has always left me a sure feeling Miles would stay at LSU as long as he was wanted.

If called, Miles will go if the money is right.

All this bs about him leaving because fans here are so rough on him is just that, bs. What, you think the Michigan fans are pansies? That's why they are singing such praises to Rich Rod.

No, Miles will go because Michigan is his school, it's a great school, and it is no criticism about LSU for Miles to go to Michigan.

It ain't rocket science, and Miles has never been that hard to figure out.

Now, the big question is, what would Michigan have to pay Miles to get him to move? Miles makes 3.8 mil now. Would he move for 3 mil?

clm would go. and why not? If he stays here and has a 7 win season at this point he could Be gone. Not to mention it's always nice to be wanted.

he gets a lot of crap here. Some deserved some not. It is what it is.

Lsu would be hurt by his departure If it takes place that close to Nsd. Not to mention the HC candidates would be picked over at that point. Jmo.

Of course money would play a role
