Watching thsi video of Avery he made a comment that took me back. Listen at the 2:40 mark.

Maybe I am reading that wrong but it seems as he if was unhappy about his choice in the beginning.

Avery has said in multiple interview that PP loves it here and that is one of the reasons he is coming here

The way I take it is that he got a lot of hell for his decision, which we knew, and it was very hard to go to LSU but he's happy now.

I'm sure most guys, especially when they leave the local school, wonder did I make the right choice.....until they get settled in.

Avery committing here is all I need to know.

He is obviously happy here now since he got his brother to commit to us. I wonder why he didn't like it here at first though.

Every kid will have second guesses on their choice. Avery, even with PP leaving, wants to be at LSU. His brother has talked to him about how to adapt in college. Hes lucky to have the older brother to help in this transition.

Easy, he was homesick and LSU was terrible his freshman season. Plus he was coached by Malveto...

I'm sure he did regret decommitting from his hometown college, but LSU grew on him and he fell in love. If he turly didn't like it here, do you think his brother would be on his way?

Did he regret his choice after signing day? Possibly. Did he get homesick at first and wish he had stayed in Florida? Also possible. But I can't imagine the guy I saw on the field at the end of the Ole Miss game being "unhappy" in 2010. If so, he's done a damn good job of hiding it.

Avery committed a month after this video, so it must not be such a big mistake. Or else, he would not have decided so soon..

How sick would they have been this year if he had stayed?

8-5 & 9-4 in his 1st 2 years probably didn't give him the warm fuzzies.

Avery committing to LSU = PP7 was happy at LSU.

John David Booty not even considering LSU = Josh Booty not happy at LSU.

pretty simple math there.
