With the avid support and following that both teams have, added the fact that both schools are within a days drive of the game. Will the attendance at The Cotton Bowl top 100,000?

At these ticket prices, they might not break a thousand

I would be surprised if the game drew 100,000. Like another poster said 80 to 85 thousand sounds about right.

Since before the teams were announced the CB folks have said they had no plans for utilizing the expanded seating so the attendance will likely be around 75 or 80k.

With those ticket prices, it may be a good time to led Joe Alleva think twice about risking the possibility that Miles might keep Crowton

The seats at JerryWorld are on tracks. They can adjust the spacing to alter capacity. They're going to remove seats to lower the seating capacity to ~83K.

We would love 100K, but they would have too much trouble moving the tarp from Reliant to Dallas after the Baylor bowl game.

Nope.

Here are the Big 12 figures:

Texas... 101,175
Nebraska... 85,888
Oklahoma... 84,778
Texas A&M... 76,800 Missouri... 64,120
Oklahoma State... 53,719
Kansas... 50,581

That's A&M's HOME average for 2010. Up by the way from 74k and some change in '09.

By the way if you were wondering....90,000. That's the All time 12th Man record for home attendance. You might also be wondering ....83,002. Kyle Field capacity.

That ESPN article is wrong. We averaged over 80k at Kyle this year easily.

Impossible, with standing room only seats sold, capacity to 84,000 max. But it will be maxed out for sure.

We'd break 100k with Crowton gone, possibly.

jerrys world can accomodate however many fans want tickets, so it will be up to us. cowboys had a 100k + against the giants last year.

Might have been including fans in the open "party pass" areas at either end zone?
