I did group seating with 2 people I know. And we're all for Outback/Capital One since it's cheaper than Cotton. If the Cotton is chosen, I ain't buyin'. I can't afford 2 tickets worth $250 plus tax . $140 is more reasonable.

AGREE. The prices are frickin ridiculous. I wish i could afford to pay 140 plus travel expenses to go watch the Cotton. Looks like im betting on Orlando...

Are all the pro-Cotton posters on here still going to pay $250+ for tickets now? Shite, I would only consider going if I lived in Dallas/north Louisiana.

Houston's actually about a 4.5 hour drive to Dallas. Still not that close.

And it's even further from New Orleans . Cap 1 is probably the same distance.

Winning last game would've been nice since I would strictly just have to pay for Sugar tickets. I would get free parking courtesy of dad's building on Poydras and free tailgating by someone else I know. UGHHHHHH!!!! I guess next year will be THE year since the BCS will be in Nola again? Better hope so.

Email said it will be determined by priority points and I'm looking at the Stubhub map for the 2011 Cotton Bowl and I don't see student seating in the upper deck marked anywhere.

It looks like opposite corners are empty on stubhub for the tickets that the university will get to distribute.

You can still get lower level 5 yard line "reserved seating" for $125. A suite w/ 18 tickets is only $10k. I think chicken should get a suite and raffle off 10 or so seats to us.

^Although I won't have the money to go to the Cotton Bowl, I will say that Cotton>>>>>Chicken Nugget Bowl.

I'm really confused as to why people are complaining about the difference in ticket price. Orlando is 250 miles further than Dallas from BR each way. That, coupled with most likely an extra hotel night in Orlando puts you over the cost of a 1.5 day trip to Dallas.

Not to mention, it seems like every LSU student I know has some connection to family or friends in the DFW area...can't say the same about Orlando.

Trust me, you don't want uppers in cowboys stadium...not even the huge screen is worth that much to sit all the way up there. Went to the Saints game, that place is very big and very tall and very overrated.
