I would think Hatcher was paid off.It looked like he went for lsu 17 instead of the Arky receiver and on the first long td all he had to do was touch him and the receiver would have went out of bounds. Know one at this level can take those bad of angles by accident. I hate to say this but that is the way it looked to me.

You don't know better. Doesn't mean he did what you've suggested, but a lot of the LSU play-style yesterday seemed strangely out of sync.

No one from LSU can take bad angles by accident? Remember our D when we had co coordinators, the whole defense were taking bad angles every play, every game! Seems to me this continued under Chavis.

Hatcher is not the only one that takes bad angles, but the thing I noticed all season is how painfully slow he is to be playing DB. Seems with the way he likes to hit that he would be a better move to that small LB spot that Francois is playing. #37, more than anyone, cost us that game yesterday.

DUde, wake the hell up! Hatcher missed guys completely on an 85 and 80 yd TD pass WHEN HE WAS IN POSITION to make the play.

I know exactly what his problem is....eyesight or lack of looking. He is closing his eyes or turning his head at angles where he isn't seeing the tackle. He misses ALOT.

Watch the game again, and not just on pass plays. Watch how many times he COMPLETELY misses on hits and tackles.

HIS PLAY IS THE WORST SAFETY PLAY I'VE SEEN IN YEARS!

You can't start in high school missing those plays and you are considered the "SAFETY" THere is a reason it's called that.

Eric Reid hasn't impressed me either. He takes bad angles coming up in run support. Maybe that's a freshman thing, and he just needs to adjust to the speed of the SEC. But he also bit underneath on that TD at the half. If you're a SAFETY, you have no business covering an underneath route in a hail-mary situation.

I'm thinking the injury to Brandon Taylor hurt more than we thought.
