I decided to go back to 2007 and read these two posts by lsumatt. Obviously this year is a whole different scenario, but the crazy and unthinkable do happen!

Not thinking LSU will, but that was a fun ride and this year's BCS bowl hopes will be a fun one as well!

No matter how fantastical a trip to the BCSNCG is, we are not completely eliminated from the conversation. You can't say LSU won't go, just that it's unlikely. As we approach the last game of the regular season it's not a bad place to be.

Wow. WVU was a 28.5% favorite over Pitt. I've never cheered for a team so hard in my life. I think that includes LSU. I was a nervous wreck that game.
1.4% chance of all three things happening. AND, Matt Flynn was hurt in the SECCG.
2007 was WAY crazier than I even remember. Who says it can't happen again? Doubtful, but would it be any more improbable than 2007?

Just between you and me, Les does have a lucky horseshoe wedged in his arse. If we were Georgia or Florida with one loss and no ticket to Atlanta, I'd say "no chance". But Les could win the PowerBall and I wouldn't bat an eye.

LOL, We are one of three eligible teams that could win the West this weekend! Plus we are undeafed against eligigible teams, and play great defens against elibible players
