ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown, they just said that, turns out, PT didn't sprain his ankle; he tore a tendon, and that "had he known from the beginning, he would have had surgery."

If this is true, how is it possible that we have such a miserable medical team? It seams like we misdiagnose major injury after major injury.

no clue...but it's got to be a partial tear

tendons don't just magically heal if they're fully torn, they may form scar tissue but that's hardly conducive to playing pro football on. I would think if he had an injury worthy of surgery a month and a half ago, it would still be worthy of surgery.

our medical team is terrible and I know for a fact, that a bunch of the players don't trust them, and they are constantly misdiagnosing injuries

They all need to be fired. This is every year and it is inexcusable.

Being reported as such by Adam Shefter, so give it as much or as little weight as you deem appropriate.
