The 2-9 Philadelphia 76ers are not ready to panic, but sources close to the situation say there is a growing concern. So much so that the 76ers who have been reluctant to engage trade talks, now seem more open to what's out there and could be gearing up for a deal next month if things don't improve.

...however Iguodala has been hampered this season by a banged up wrist and tendinitis in his right Achilles. Iguodala has missed three of his last six games and is putting up career low numbers, including a 12.8 points per game scoring average.

Factor in the $13.67 million Iguodala is owed this season, and the remaining $61.8 million he's still owed and Iguodala becomes a tough player to move.

...sources close to the 76ers thinking, say Speights could be available if it returned the right package of assets and his lack of playing time surely signals he's not a priority.

...As things stand today the 76ers are said to be listening to offers a lot more intently than they were two weeks ago

...The Sixers are 2-9 today, and have 14 games to play until December 15th. It's a situation to watch for sure.

Sorry to rain on your parade but the Sixers aren't going to trade Iguodala for Peja and Thornton.

I've seen someone somewhere suggest Belinelli rather than Thornton. I'm still concerned about going to an All D No 3 lineup, but

Peja + Beli + Gray + 2nd rounder for Iggy + Speights seems like another winning trade for Demps if the Sixers are desperate enough to take it.

Beli makes more sense than Thornton, but Gray and a 2nd rounder are worthless. Unless someone comes up with a better offer I see AI going to the Thunder for Harden + picks.

Why would they be interested? Sefolosha is a pretty good and cheap defensive wing. Yeah it's an upgrade but it seems like a marginal upgrade considering Iggy's contract. They've talked about dumping Green because OKC is cheap and their biggest needs are the front line.

If Philly is blowing it up, then they want an expiring to dump Iggy's salary and cheap young talent. Peja + MT5 fits the bill I guess.

Would LOVE to get Speights.

Yeah, okc makes no sense. they start sefalosha because they don't need offense at that position. Sefalosha is a better defender than iggy and if they do need offense at the 2 harden comes in off the bench.

All that for half the price of iggy.

They don't want to extend Green because Green takes away minutes from Ibaka. They're not cheap, they're just smart, not wanting to overpay the wrong guy. Sefo is like a homeless man's Iguodala, only he can't guard more physical perimeter guys and big SF's. I think acquiring Iguodala would make the Thunder scary good.

So is Iggy. Seriously. At best, it's a wash.

Trust you? Why? Are you some sort of defensive guru or something? Iguodala is one of the best defenders in the NBA and was a starter on our world championship team solely because of his defense. Thabo has been pretty good in the past but opposing 2's are getting to the rim at will on him, he's gotten torched by Manu, Ben and Eric Gordon, CJ Miles, and others this year.

Ibaka has been beasting for them since Green went down with injury. He's averaging 4 blocks a game, which would be leading the NBA by a nice margin, and dropped 22/11 on 9/13 shooting the other night on the Jazz.

And FWIW Sefolosha did a damn good job on Kobe in the playoffs last season. He's not as versatile as Igoudala, but he's still a damn good defender and far cheaper.
