I read one post last week mentioning this place and decided to try it out. It's on Carrollton near canal st. If you're in the area and looking for a really good meal, I recommend trying this place.
Wife started with the diver scallops, cooked perfectly and served over a really delicious buttery sauce (can't recall what it was, but very good). I had the wild mushroom risotto...wow. Ihad the mushroom and shrimp rissotto at Stella not long ago. Of course this wasn't quite Stella good but it was pretty close. Very rich, great texture. They used roasted oyster mushrooms. I don't think I've ever eaten those. Different and very good.
For the mains she had the olive oil poached bass and I had the citrus duck breast. The fish was great, really good texture from poaching it in oil. It was seared off after poaching so the exterior had a nice contrast in texture. Served over house made pasta with fresh green beans and a pesto. Duck was really good, served over a potato purée with roasted fennel, house made citrus marmalade. Presentation was really good on all the dishes.
Dessert didn't disappoint. Had pecan pie and a caramel chocolate tart. The pie was the winner but both were served with house made ice cream that was outstanding.
Prices are very reasonable. Wine list is small, but there was enough for me to choose from. It's a small shop, so I didn't expect much there. If you're around the neighborhood, definitely give this place a try.

I went there last night! Cute place. Nicely set up. Had the gumbo which was average. The double cut pork chop was great. My gf had the French onion soup which she loved and the Poached Bass, which I have to say was excellent. Our friends enjoyed there stuff as well. Finished with the Deep Fried Cupcakes which were awesome.
I recommend as well.
