ESPN 3 is...

awesome. Downloaded the data last night and watched a rugby game from France and Russia vs. Turkey in Judo.
I was trying to watch some Aussie Rules football but ended up going to sleep. I hear that shite is crazy.

so i am confused....
is the ESPN app on the 360 the same as ESPN 3. When I go to the ESPN app, all I see is highlights of sportscenter, news clips, and other ESPN shows. That is it.

I only get like 3 or 4 screens. I'm missing something important here.

As far as I know it is. Both the soccer and football games that were on last night on regular cable were live on my 360. I was able to watch the other past sporting events in the On Demand section of the application.
Not sure what problem you are having, as I was able to watch a shite ton of college football games too.

There are hundred of archived games on it.
You can make sections that have your own interests, I made a "College Football" section and they were hundreds of college football games archived.
Watched some of LSU/Florida to give it a shot, very solid.

i watched the college football game live tonight. that was pretty awesome. it's perfect if you don't have a set top box in your room. i also saw they had some nba games live as well tonight.

so I called Xbox support and it took some digging from the service rep, but he said that the ESPN3 and Xbox content crap is still not finalized between the TW and ESPN. They said it should happen by the end of the year, but this does explain why I can access all ESPN3 features on my PC, but none on my Xbox.
