The potential for a huge ratings opportunity exists if Bama and AU win out up to the Iron Bowl. With the SEC's apparent desire to set up big games and an LSU win almost locking up the SEC west for AU, what are the chances Bama is "given the benefit of the doubt" at LSU?

You better believe it. Probably do what they did last game. Give us terrible spots give them great spots and when giving the chance favor bama.

Legally and ethically they cannot allow it.

But I have often found myself wondering this as well. Sometimes it is almost too coincidental. And it's not just the tv ratings. Every team in the SEC benefits financially if an SEC team wins the BCS

Wavin- what other explanation is there for last year the lsu- Alabama game, not giving peterson the int, and Florida-arkansas game with that imaginary personal fouled call?

Your guess is as good as mine, I'm simply saying that officially they can't do this.
And for the record, I agree there have been countless head scratching calls in the sec throughout the years.

I just find it horrible. But hey we can overcome the refs and that's what being the underdog is always about. I'm just glad I get to watch a lsu game this coming weekend. Yesterday was miserable.

No. This conspiracy shite has got to stop. Refs blow calls all the time; many just remember certain ones.
