What the hell is up with that. Every gator they catch is "a 500lb gator", even though it's like a 6 foot gator. I really like the show, but the guy who does the talking needs to shut the frick up. Fake arse Louisiana accent having mother fricker should get a scale too. I'm not sure why this pisses me off so much. I just wonder if other people notice the lying too.

This.
The only time they say 500lb gator is when they are over 8ft. Also, a lot like snakes, the actual length of a gator is deceiving. They may say 6ft, but that is one of the small ones that Junior doesn't like.

yeah they usually are like "another shitty 6 footer" essentially, and then when it's a 10-12 foot monster, they talk about 500+ lbs

They edit it too much like all of the other "reality" shows. Most of the drama is fake.

They have serious issues with "changing" guns....they will have a rifle in one shot, a shotgun in the next, and then back to another rifle...If you look for it, you'll notice every time they shoot a gator.

You sure they don't just have "One Man Army Pro" and can switch classes really fast?

From my experience, I can tell you that an 8 ft gator can be 350lbs, cause I weighed it. I could easily see a 10 footer at >500.

Hunters and fisherman never exaggerate the size of their catches.

It bugs me as well. Some of them are legit monsters but the narrator is constantly throwing out misinformation. Also I think they just shoot the water for dramatic effect. No way they are shooting at the gators that many times.

i just can't see a 22 being able to put down these gators at point blank or not. surely that's a high power rifle.

This is the most poorly edited show on TV. There are all kinds of continuity errors on a regular basis. Editing is shitty on this show, and you just have to ignore it or it'll drive you nuts.

it's so bad it's like they dont even try. They use the same spoken lines in different situations, routinely switch from one gun to another during the same catch, show different catches in different locations that are supposed to be the same catch, etc.

I think they only went out a couple days with these guys and then made the whole season with that little bit of footage
