Should have kicked him off a lot sooner. Maybe Terrell Pryor would have come here instead of Ohio State.

exactly why we need him as our long term head coach. He does what is best for the team no matter how it impacts him and we all know that.

The most recent precedents seem to be that they go to JUCO for a year and then pick up with another team. Worked for Newton and perhaps will work for Mettenburger.

In hindsight he probably would have kicked him off much sooner and recruited high tier Qbs. However, he doesn't have that option.
