Bama is a more conventional team and a good matchup for us

Provided we go back to the aggressive style of defense we played pre-Auburn, I think we will give Bama all they can handle. Auburn was a hard matchup because of their style of offense and a pretty vanilla defensive plan from us (which bled yards but still kept the game close mind you).

Against a more traditional pro-style offense I think we will matchup well defensively. With homefield advantage, Lee at QB and a little bit of luck, we can finally beat them again.

What Bama does isn't remotely close to what AU does with Cam and the read option. Bama isn't reading shite, they're putting a receiver in motion and then allowing a running back to run up the middle.

I agree that our defense matches up against Bama much better. But our offense is not on a Div 1-a level (probably not even on a div1-aa level). Defense will begin to wear down because the offense, as usual, will have a piss poor game.

Somebody needs to play well on offense. The 'bit of luck' I was referring to could be a good day for Ridley or Ford. We do need help.

Well we can either have a one dimensional quarterback out there with Jefferson, who may at times get us a first down or two from running. Or we can have a guy that can throw the ball AND hand it off. Neither option is great but I just assume continue give Lee the snaps if it's all the same. we can't move it either way though.

They are going to pull the guard and run right at Mingo and Adams. Smaller DEs are going to get exposed.

I have a want for LSU to beat Bama.

I have an expectation that, like last year’s Florida game, at some point during the game it will become painfully obvious there is no way we can win.

Yeah but just like the UF game last year, there was a way to win, we were just too afraid to actually take any risks on offense to possibly make it a game or risk the chance of being blown out. Personally, I would rather lose by thirty trying something offensively than basically relegate our offense to doing nothing of worth for four quarters, which is what we did once again against Auburn.

Bama has a good run defense and a decent secondary. We're going to have to pass the ball to win. I'm not getting my hopes up, unless by some miracle we are able to pass for the first time in two years.

We won't have either quarterback throw a ball down field.

We passed pretty well against TN and Florida. We didn't against Auburn - and their secondary is bad (as good as we made them look).

Lee was out of it after the hit he took. He still gives the best (and only) chance of beating anyone outside of ULM at this point.

It was our offensive line. They were handled quite easily and it made every aspect of our offense look like last season.

Bama is just going to line up and run over us. Our offense sucks so bad the defense will ware down in the fourth quarter. Sos. Qb's sucks= another loss.
