I think this would be the best case scenario for the good of the program? Sooner the better. The longer it is delayed, the harder it will be to attract a decent replacement.

If you know its going to have to be done, it costs more to wait.

The question to ask is what is the dollar amount left on Miles' buyout?

When will the dumbasses realize he isn't going anywhere any time soon. With a good offensive coordinator it would be a different team. Not saying that he is a grade A coach by any means. Plus this programs recruiting would take a huge hit over him because the players love him.

I know ya'll will think I am crazy but I still like Coach Miles, I say keep him get rid of BG and GC....If Miles has a Good not Great OC and QBC we are in the thick of things and no one is screaming to get rid of Miles..We got our asses handed to us, BEST TEAM WON LAST NIGT THATS IT, we played hard and lost by 7, defense seemed flat to me....We really really need and OC and QBC....Jsut my 2 cents...Not worth much..

He got his pass with the Florida win. He'll throw Crowton out at the end of the year and still have the same results next year. Les is here until his contract ends. Sucks but it is what it is!

3 losses and a refusal to fire Crowton should get him fired.

You are absolutely right, but it's not going to happen with Mr. PC-"throw the lacrosse team under the bus"-AD and the dead-head bureaucrats in the administration. Unfortunately, there are no more Mark Emmerts at LSU. It's back to mediocrity again.

Posts like these show the ineptitude of our fanbase. 9 or 10 win coaches don't get fired unless there are off the field issues. If they do, no one worth hiring would ever take the job. Forget the buyout.

Crowton gets gone after this season, and we'll look much improved offensively in 2011. Like our defense this year.

First its the Co-D debacle, then the O-coordinator. How many failures does the HC get? Whats next year? Special teams! The man is over his head in the SEC.
