Solved a Huge Problem Today

My sons 8th birthday today and my wife made the reservation for 3:00 today at Leo's(was Incredible Pizza). I didn't find out the time until yesterday so was in a panic. I called and had the party switched to the sports room with big screens all around. I know my wife will be pissed, but I can live with that. My son is happy about it though.

I know enough to give them what they want like 90% of the time but to draw the line when it comes to really important things - like LSU games. Especially like unbeaten LSU v. unbeaten Auburn SEC games.

The rule in my house is NO birthday parties on saturdays when the Tigers play. It is always moved to sunday because most of our friends would not show up anyways.

My son has a varsity golf tournament today, and is looking for ways to be dq'd after they changed his tee time from 7:30 to 12;30.. I am sooo proud.

I don't think it's a control thing. I think it's just a "be considerate" thing. My wife runs the " check with me" before she schedules stuff on Saturdays in the fall and I do the same on Friday nights (she sometimes goes to a church cell group).
She might not give a fug about LSU football but she needs to understand that you do.
