Chris Berman's voice??

has he always done that crap with his voice? i can't even explain it, but it's a low, gargling, rough sound. he doesn't do it all the time, it seems like he does it when he's out of breath and trying to finish off a long sentence. holy hell it's annoying 
somebody tell this dude to woooosahhh. for those who have been paying attention throughout the years, has he always done this, or is this a new thing for him?

i actually don't mind berman, kinda enjoy his color-replays. but that voice crap when he gets out of breath is some of the most annoying stuff i have ever heard. i instantly change the channel when he starts doing that
