Are we delusional fans....or not?

I remember when the bammers were bashing Don Shula. Morale bad, constant whining, and their feelings of hopelessness everyday calling in to Finebaum. All that they wanted was to win a NC every year. As a non-Bama fan, it was pathetic.
It seems we have become like them. Constant negativity on the boards, on the radio talk shows, and just in general day to day conversation. One of the most nega-years in quite some time.
Bad and pathetic to be delusional or good to be simply hardcore true fans or both? Would getting a new coach just solve it all? Or would 1 QB and keeping Les be the answer?Everybody's got their own answer.

We're pathetic. We won't win the West every year, or even most years. We had a down year in 2008, a rebuilding year in 2009, and now we're having a successful year in 2010.

i think the problem is we have potential to be great, but we play up and down to teams and win ugly.
we are wasting NC-caliber defense b/c of awful offense. and we have an offensive backrounded head coach, a 4th year OC and 3rd/4th year QBs. the offensive ineptitude is ridiculous

EVERYONE IN THE frickING COUNTRY IS BASHING THIS GUY.
And they only see the ends of the games.
If they had to sit through the whole thing, they'd be boycotting the networks that carry LSU games.

Yeah I don't think we're wasting NC caliber defense. Our lack in a consistent QB system is just making them work extra hard.

We don't know if this is a successful year or not yet. If we lose 4 of the next 5 will you call it a success? and the way we're playing it could happen.
