Seemed like he just lost his balance when he broke in the open. What did you guys think? Nice to see him getting some touches. Hopefully he'll get some heavy work Saturday

I think someone got him by the shoe strings. He was moving quick, and I thought he could have gone the distance had he maintained himself.

So did the UF player who would have stopped him after a 7 yard gain

he lost his balance. i can't stand when rb's anticipate getting hit and fall to the turf after receiving less contact than expected. this is why i like blue more than ford.

I keep watching it and don't see him getting hit.

Yeah, the play should have gone for a td if Ford doesn't trip himself.

Exactly what I don't like about Murphy. The worst balance of any rb I've ever seen and goes down by the arm tackle almost every time.

I'm going to give Ford some time before I start comparing him to Richard Murphy. They are entirely different backs from what I've seen.

Interesting though that the nega crowd was acting like we had the best RB on the bench.

Clearly coming out of spring it looked like Ford was the guy. He has an excellent off season. SR is just better(right now)...simple.

I suggest you watch more closely. Blue has that Murphy "lean before getting hit" that throws his balance off and then goes down by a shoe tackle. I fully expect Ford to have a coming out party this weekend against Neese.

Since Ford has like 4 carries this year, its a bit difficult to judge at this point. I like his quickness.

Agreed, I wasn't trying to dog him out. I hope he gets mad carries Saturday

I think it was more of him seing the open field and having his mind running faster than his feet. With only 4 carries on the season, i dont expect he quite has the game speed all there yet. he will keep his feet with more experience.

Ford had an amazing off season. He could use a little more weight, however i understand why we need to play blue because in the SEC you have to have at least 4 healthy RB's to get through the season. Seeing how ford has been here for a year already blue probably could use a few touches just in case. Expect him to be GOOD when he gets some decent play time, he's quick around the edges and has great breakaway speed, which counters ridley who can move between tackles and make space for himself.

I like Ware too. That guy has some sick hands. Works great in the passing game. How did you like that one handed grab he made out of the slot on that WR screen? Or how about that tough catch thrown behind him when Lee first got in? This kid has some serious skills.

He does not need more weight at his height. The dude is built like a brick shite house and is one of the strongest players on the team.
