I may have to change my opinion of Miles. I appreciate balls, and he appears to have found them again. I think that the last couple of seasons he has played uptight due to the pressure that winning the National Championship in 2007 put on the program.
Now, Miles seems to be letting it hang out a little bit. Perhaps he looked losing his job in the eye and said F-it. Lee, JJ, who cares, when the Tigers play on the edge they are fun to watch. We get more excitment from our team than most in the nation.
We are 6-0 and still suck. Here's to the "worst" 6-0 team in the Nation. May we continue to be so terrible!

would you appreciate balls if the play failed?

I will also admit that I have been overly harsh on Miles.

I totally agree.
It does help, however, to have better coaches and players. Our O & D lines have been average the last two years. This year they are special.
QB's are gaining experience and confidence.
The future looks bright.

Lesticles has found his testicles like in 07. Winning does heal a lot of wounds.

And if we lose to Auburn you will be back on the other side of the fence.
Just messing with you, he really did coach a good game against Florida gives me hope that we have finally found something that works on offense.

Play called - still appreciate balls
Play failed - furious about loss
Game in swamp - moral victory crap
Lee played well - happy about that
not having power to change coaches/plays - optimistic about future.

I dont think it has as much to do with pressure from 07 as it does with having young QB's. He now has 2 junior QB's and one is showing to be able to come through in the clutch. He trust his team to get it done again.

RP is the answer to what happened after the 07 Title. If RP hadn't acted like a fool and gotten kicked off the team, we don't have to start underclassmen at QB the next two years.

Agree. But add to this the departure of Bo P. To maintain continuity on the D, Miles tried the Co-DC experiment. He learned from that mistake and hired the Chief. Good recovery. With a better D in 08, JLee would not have been forced to try to win games with his arm. Remember our run game was anemic. JLee may have improved at a normal pace and the QB position could have recovered quicker from the departure of RP. I feel like one of those miners being rescued in Chile. I SEE THE LIGHT!

I didn’t criticize Miles or the team but I do confess to saying that it "just wasn’t our year." I wrote something about acceptance; acceptance of being an also-ran, etc. I was scathed (rightfully so) in the rant and now have to say I was wrong. We beat Florida (I predicted we would lose) and that is more than I expected already. I guess that’s why I'm not a coach. I didn’t see this all happening. But, I am delighted. To those who scathed me: you were right. I was wrong.

Also, in that the buyout is more like $20mm with the assistants, it would probably cost another $3-5 to buy out the new coach, and once he wins 9 regular season games (LIKELY), the roll over is automatic. We might as well get used to Les, for at least the next two seasons.
No one has more exciting games than us, and there is something to be said for that!

Oh c'mon guys. We barely beat a mediocre Fla team and all the sudden Les is a genius? Paleeze! If UNC tight end doesn't drop TWO passes in the endzone, we lose. If Tennessee's coach doesn't "outdummy" our coach, we lose. On a botched fake, if the ball goes one INCH forward, we lose. We are lucky to be where we are. Let's see if Les's luck holds up for the Aub, Ala, and Arky run.

I have trouble appreciating someone who can't even figure out who his best players are. We are winning games in spite of our coaching.

Putting JJ in at the end of the first half to get in FG range when he could of tried for the TD was stupid. JL has mad hurry up offense skills

One last minute lucky Les drive against a Florida team who should never been in the game, and now Les is the greatest again. BEOTCHES PLEASE
