The ref set the ball and moved back and it was hiked to JL and then thrown to TT who juked his way out of there within like 3 seconds.

The first I could make out TT was when he was past the first guy and near the second guy.

The florida D is really quick and fast and there were like 3 orange jerseys within arms length of LEE and he saw the incoming DBs and still zipped that pass to TT.

The final fade was really great and several other throws were good.

But somehow this particular play stuck to me as some kind of defining moment for LEE, cool collected, calm and having control over the situation and rising to the occasion and delivering the goods as a leader should.

After waiting through 6 games this season, I am really looking forward to the QB pass play in the next 6.

The DE came free on the play as well. So Lee took his drop, and had a completely unblocked guy coming right him. He didn't panic, didn't drift back and throw off his back foot. He just threw a strike to TT right where the DE vacated.

Lee's handling of the Fla. blitz was really, really good. He made some clutch throws that were very quick and under significant duress.

More Lee.
Less Jefferson.

And then he got the team down to the 3 yard line for a good "clock it" call.... didn't need to stare at the sideline for 18 seconds like the other guy.

That was one frightening moment and I was dreading the call from my cousin who went to Florida.

Terrance Toliver seems to be a veritable beast and I don't mean it in the literal way. The guy bulldozed his way through 4 DBS, 3 Safeties, 2DEs and carried one DT to the 3 yard line

It seems like a long time since I remember seeing a LSU WR manhandle defense like that and shrug them off for extra gain.!

well chicken one thing is for sure...the days of putting out fires between posters concerning qbs are over.
One less thing you gotta do.

Now, dont you feel bad for banning me for taking up for JL last year?

Lee has a quarterback mentality that Jefferson totally lacks. Lee can envision where Tolliver is GOING TO BE when the ball arrives versus WHERE HE IS NOW.

Lets just put it this way. JJ doesn't make THAT throw.

From what we've seen so far, Lee is a totally different person from 08 and even 09. Looks very comfortable at the QB position, makes great decisions and makes them quickly. Throws the ball well and doesn't get rattled easily anymore. Both fades at the end were great throws....to bad the first was PI that wasn't called against UF. Even the fade he threw against UT wasn't a bad decision, just underthrew a bit. It was designed to be a quick pass but the DB made a good play.

What was even more telling of the leadership of JLee was after the 1st fade, JLee already had the play call from the sideline, he goes to TT and tells him where the ball will be. The rest is history.

You can really see a "team" cohesiveness when JLee is at the helm.

yea and others too. one thing that helped JL was that UF refused to ackowledge his abilities and continued to cheat against the run. i hope crowton realizes this and turns pass happy until the oppositions gives. then, WE CAN RUN THE BALL with success. uf was determined to stop the run and make lsu beat 'em in the air. don't blame 'em; there was no evidence on film to indicate we could win a game via the air. there is now.

I'm so down

I hate that Jj is riding lee all the way down the field than gloryjacking the shite out of him just to pad his stats...

I was aggravated every time I heard "Jefferson with two rushing TDs on the night" a if he earned that shite

How about 4th and 14 vs tenn on game-winning drive? We don't get to fla game unbeaten without it
