I can't believe that the SEC still has officials that can call that bad of a game

yea they are terrible, and whats worse is they always seem to play against us.... I thought for sure with the game in the officials hands last night with the fake FG that it was surely over because of those pricks

We had 6 penalties and Florida had 11 called against them. I agree they blew several really bad calls, but not like they had an agenda against us.

The non PI call against Tolliver was really bad other than that I really didn't see what everybody was bitchin about.Steve Shaw, the Referee is one of if not THE best in college football.

They're were a lot of controversial calls.

The only ones that I thought were really out there were the PI on Eugene where the ball was out of the end zone -- and the no PI on Tolliver on the second to last play.

The safety (or lack thereof)was the right call. The qb was standing outside of the endzone when he was hit.

I thought JJ scored and it should have been reviewed. That's partially our fault for snapping the ball fairly quickly for the next play.

All you can ask for with refs is consistency.

Those refs were consistent both ways. I don't have a problem with them. Though they made a bunch of questionable calls (ie phatom PI calls), they were made against both teams.

Didnt affect the game thank god

I thought they did great. No complaints at all. The safety was not a safety

Isn't defensive holding five yards and an automatic first down? When did it become half the distance? Basically a 15-yarder, since the FG attempt went from 42 to 27 yards.

I cannot remmeber another defensiveholding that did not create an automatic 1st down.

Maybe someone can explain that to me?

I agree. Most people here dont realize that they have a bias to what they will believe is a penalty or not. There were a couple more calls in UF's favor but there were touchy calls either way for the most part. Definitely was a little pissed about the no-call PI on Toliver. It was an obviously blown call. LSU did not get a safety. Any fellow LSU fans saying that are trippin. Nevis would have had one earlier had he not got a fist full of facemask.

In the secondary it is ten yards and a 1st down. This occurred on the line.
