Back from the game

A group of us got back from the game and were surprised at some of the comments here. Everyone in the stands was very frustrated when JJ came into the game, and the Florida fans could not believe that we kept playing him.
However, sometimes the stands are not the best place to evaluate gameplay. Can someone fill me in on whether it makes any sense to continue playing JJ?

Only in goal line or short yardage situations.

makes sense in certain situations, the guy did get us 2 tds last night
Lee seems to respond best coming off the bench.
JJ shouldnt be allowed to throw it very much though, especially on 3rd and long

How did the fans tgreat you? What are your thoughts on them booing their players? How fast did the teams look side by side IRL?

For what its worth, JJ had his best game, & only the one bad interception. That being said, there is no question that with JL, we move the ball better & the team seems to be more energized. As I have said before, I have no problem with JJ starting, but JL needs to have more of the overall snaps...

Why with showing Lee throwing the fade may help open up the running lanes. When JJ is in there just stack the box cause 9/10 its gonna be a run. With Lee they have to atleast think about the pass.

How was the Gestapo? I heard Florida cops are the worst.

I tailgated in the lot next to McConnell center (? spelling) and stadium. Gator fans were nice, no taunting. With that being said, that was the most boring tailgate ever! In the stands was a different story; I almost got in a fight with an 18yo who kept blowing a a plastic horn everytime Florida did something good.

JL should get the vast majority of the snaps.

What does this mean? Has he been given the opportunity to do anything else but come off the bench?

Florida never came close to stopping JJ's qb draw for one thing. Ridley had more success with JJ in for another. Just a couple off the top of my head.
I understand the frustration with JJ, but let's not now pretend he doesn't do anything well.

Why in the world would you start a player if the backup is clearly better
I'd appreciate if someone would help me understand this

His best games have been from off the bench. His worst have been as a starter. Doesn't mean it can't change, but that's the way it's been.

Based on all of his poor starts this year? Look, maybe he DOES work better coming off the bench. The fact of the matter is that once he gets a feel for the game (as he clearly had on his first series), he should lead the team out for every series.
We did not score a touchdown on any series in which Jefferson started. Lee should be our main man, use Jefferson in close yardage (if we're resigned to using him).

This is complete BS. No one knows because he hasn't had the opportunity to start this year. I really don't understand this generalization.

Completely false. Ridley actually ran better under Lee in this game, so there goes that argument.

COMPLETE bullshite
Ridley yds/carry with Lee = 3.2
Ridley yds/carry with Jefferson = 2.6
