Reality : LSU D better than Bama; LSU O better than UF

There are alot of reasons to feel good about the Tigers after last night's win. The Tigers rocketed to #87 in Total O and #5 in Total D and, unlike most other ranked teams, they have yet to play a non-BCS school (that comes this week).

The #1 stat that matters: LSU is 6-0 and bowl eligible. Of course, we have loftier goals. My pre-season prediction of 11-1 with a loss to Arkansas to close the season and a match-up of LSU vs South Carolina for the SECCG is looking a little more realistic today, but there's still a long way to go.

As the Wolf would say, "let's not start..." well, that's too graphic. Let's not get ahead of ourselves! There's still a long way to go!

More good news: WVU is back in the top 25 and Moo State and UNC are knocking on the door. If all three make it back into the top 25, that's HUGE for LSU's SOS.

It's not where they were ranked when you beat them, it's where they are ranked at the end of the year.
