Worst possible thing for Miles

After watching Miles' press conference and taking a few hours to decompress and break down the game, I can say that yesterday's game was the worst possible outcome for Les Miles.

1. He obviously put JJ in the game when we got inside the 5 and called a run for him thinking that if JJ scores it makes him the hero and dampens the calls for Lee to be the starter at QB. Listen to the press conference and his cryptic comments about the JJ run. Clearly he really wanted JJ to score there.

2. JJ gets stuffed on the run, then the coaching staff melts down and tries to insert a different package onto the field with no TOs and the clock running - resulting in the utter chaos that you saw at the end of the game. Lucky for us, we were so confused that we confused Tenn and they had 13 men on the field.

3. LSU wins anyway, despite the utter mismanagement of the clock by the staff and now everyone is left to conclude that LSU is winning in spite of Miles rather than because of him. Miles' post game comments thinly disguised the fact that he knew he had embarrassed the university and the team. How a man with his experience could understand so little about clock management is hard to comprehend. Most HS kids have a better grasp of it than Miles does.

4. Lee's play - sure it wasn't always pretty - but he was 16-23-185 and 1 INT. He made several clutch throws - the 47 yarder to Randle and the 4th and 14 to Tolliver that stick out. Now there is a legitimate QB controversy, which is the last thing we needed. Miles has limited brain power. We need him to focus what molecules are left on the Florida game plan, not on defending JJ in the media all week and answering a thousand clock management questions.

If there are two take aways from this game its that we have an utter idiot for a head coach and OC and we now have a QB controversy that our staff will not be able to handle.

You do realize that it is possible to be happy LSU won and still recognize that Miles was a fricking idiot and did as much as he possibly could short of shooting Ridley in the head to keep LSU from winning, don't you?

I mean frick man, you're just being a board a-hole right now cause I know you're not so stupid as to be incapable of noting a bad coaching episode during a victory.

Interestingly, I'm guessing this only works in one direction and in the losses last year, you noted POSITIVES about Miles.

Am I right board?

Jon Gruden for HC, let him borrow his good buddy, Sean Payton's playboook, and please find us a QB that can read defenses, thown downfield and does not make bonehead plays.

Is that too much to ask for? sorry I am greedy.

We havent beat a good team all year and here you sunshiners are thinking this crap will fly against Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas and Florida (next week). We are a 4-loss team if he doesn't get this simple shite figured out.

After Florida just got completely dismantled by Alabama we should have SOME confidence going into that game but most people are wondering if we'll even score the 3 points we did last year against them.

Of course you are correct. Rather than acknowledging the truth, Uncommon Delusion just repeatedly posts the same mantra in every thread in some strained effort to hide Miles' deficiencies, as if pure will and naive hope can increase the coaches' IQ and make all the bad men go away.

The first thing they can do to quiet the madness is to start Lee at QB against Florida. Hard to argue with the disparity in numbers. Sure JJ had the one fantastic run but if you look at that play, there were no defenders 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and JJ didn't really have to break tackles to get there. Not detracting from the run but TN was in a really bad defensive position on that play.

Look, I really feel for you and Choctaw. It's a bad time to be without a job in this economy.

But it's time for you two to start working on your resumes because you and your boss Les are gonna be unemployed at the end of this season.

In other words, yes, when LSU lost last year, you STILL cited positives about Miles in those games.

Thank you.

Fail.
I have my own business. I am on track to make more money this year than last andthe Democrats want to increase my taxes because of it.
And if Miles isn't fired. will you kill yourself, or will we have to read more of your odiotic posts next year?
LSU is 5-0. Think about it. Oh wait. Thinking is hard for you. Never mind.

So, in the coming weeks, if LSU loses, regardless of how awesome they play, the ONLY PROPER THING we should see from you is, "we lost, that's all that matters, Miles blew it".

Perhaps you can link to you doing this in the past???
