Sat. Night as the team was going back into the locker room the last time before kickoff. Our seats are 3 rows up in the North end zone, so I was paying attention to who the recruits were and who was talking with them (Demetrius Byrd was talking with everyone). One thing struck me as to why Coach Miles gets his guys- they LSU players were going in, the recruits we lined up by the tunnel, and Coach stopped and high-fived all of them. It must have taken 3-4 minutes for him to get through. With the crowd as loud as it was... the excitement... WV being ranked and not being UAB or Mid. Tenn. St. ... He had things to do. (Add sarcasm here) But he showed tons of class- that is why we have the talent we do.

He's put together an almost complete team. Once he gets passing game clicking, watch out.

It's the one thing he does really well, connect with the players and more importantly the parents. I had a chance to talk to Spencer Ware this summer, and one of the things me mentioned was that after 30 minutes of his in-home visit, his mom had no reservations about him spending 4 years in Baton Rouge as long as Miles was looking out for him.

I know he thinks his media talk is his way of not divulging anything to anybody, but I think if he handled himself in front of the cameras the way he does in recruit's homes, he'd be looked upon much more favorably by a lot of fans.
