An open letter to the Rant: Recruits read message boards too

I am not saying that we don't have problems. Because we do. Nor am i saying that we shouldn't vent our frustrations about our horrible passing game. However, i do have a problem with seeing 3/4ths of the front page of the rant dedicated to qb and coach bashing threads. These threads aren't even diverse in topic or content either. Do we really need 4 or 5 threads on the front page that all discuss exactly the same thing?

Maybe so, but at the very least could we keep the bitching confined to a few threads. Again, not saying we should be all sunshine and rainbows. Just remember that recruits go to message boards too. Do we really want to give them the impression that we can't find ANYTHING at all to be positive about a 4-0 top 10 ranked team? That we are all doom and gloom and have no capacity to enjoy a talented football team?

Just a suggestion.When you go to start a new thread, don't start a one using a topic that has 7-8 threads dedicated to it already on the front page alone. We have one of the best defenses in the country. We have a legitimate heisman contender AT CORNER. Any of these are great discussion points that are getting lost in all the doom and gloom.
