Yall think JJ should sit to start out next week. First off, the playcalling until Miles pretty much took over it was pathetic! how do you call that many short passes??? the interception that was thrown in the endzone was a mistake yes but 75% of JJ's problem was that his recievers dropped AT LEAST 5 passes. I also think Crowton feels comfortable with lee because hes so 1 dimensional...crowton literally has no idea what to do with a dual threat QB like dennis dixon. Everyone wants to jump on the Lee bandwagon against a second string defense and one passing play that everyone thought would be a running play..seriously get off the gas...the guy has had his chance. lets not bench JJ...lets Bench Crowton!! We score 17 pts when Miles starts calling the plays! and if it would have been closer all of that running would open up the passing game. and by the way, Jefferson didnt get BENCHED, they were saving him for next week...if he doesnt start next saturday...thats complete BS because Lee threw 6 pick 6's before he was even thought about being benched! F that! and

He needs to work on throwing those types of passes ACCURATELY before he can even start to throw the ball deep alot.

We dropped some passes again (as pointed out by the analysts), but JJ was the problem last night.

Other than that, I was basically happy with the win.

The passes are not thrown with any accuracy.

Jefferson does not equal Dixon.

Jefferson has had more chances.

Teams stack the box against Jefferson making it impossible to run.

Keep telling yourself that. Saving him for what? Preventing him from looking worse? Impossible.

I think JJ should start, but Lee should get to play a few series. And no I'm not kidding you.

The passes were dropped, but they were awful throws. No need to make it hard for the receivers to catch your passes.

JJ is the worst quarterback (passing) I've ever seen at LSU. He looks lost in the pocket. Say what you want about lee and the picks but atleadt with lee we were in the top 50 in total offense. And yes this group talent wise is better on the offensive side of the ball than 2008.

Jefferson has to be allowed to throw the ball down field. It is assinine that we never attack down the field. Same shite as last year.

This causes your JJ justification to fail.

The play calling is limited to try to make up for JJ's short comings in his ability to make decisions and throw the ball.

this is why you see so many options, and qb running plays, its really the only thing he can do with consistency.

You sir are fricking retarded.

lol thats intelligent..why dont you look at dixions stats when crowton was there compared to when he wasnt..and by the way...if the ball hits you on the hands...you catch it...doesnt matter really where its thrown...if its a badly thrown ball it wont hit him in the hands..i agree maybe 2 of the drops were jj's fault but shep dropped at least 2-3. We went a whole season with J Lee and we blew ballsack. were 2-0 with JJ under-center, period. lets not F this season up by going out on a limb and putting a potentially worse QB out there. he will start against miss st...if he sucks it up and loses the game...then we bench him.
haha
