Why does it bother you so much that LSU fans in general would like to see another qb. Do you not agree that JJ's play has been less than par. Are you not a fan of LSU and want them to succeed not just JJ. Besides if you are correct about JL, then you have nothing to fear in letting him play. In the end you will get to say "TOLD YOU SO"!

Not true. Sadly enough there are folks out there (including our coaching staff) that are more worried about Jefferson's delicate feelings than trying all options to improve.

Reality.............. It does seem our coaching staff at times is more worried on the pschy of their players than winning football games. Makes you long for a brow beating coach like Saban or Spurrier Maybe not

There's a happy medium between a-hole coach that'll bench you at the first mistake and the all loving coach that will watch you repeatedly make mistake after mistake and not do a damn thing about it because he's scared to hurt your feelings.

what I am reading this morning is that Les is absolutely going to be sending in JL if JJ starts like he did last night. JJ will start, but JL will finish if warranted.

Charles are you getting that from a Les Miles quote, cause if that is so, he could change his mind 10 times before next week

I don't get all this angst. If your starting ace pitcher is having a bad night and getting his arse kicked, no coach with half a wit would hesitate to pull him and put in a second-string reliever. JJ should have been sat down after the first half, for his own good.

and this is a shame. We should support the players. I am not saying ignore a poor performance, but we still should support them.

I think you mistake "JJ supporters" for those of us that are dismayed with the QB situation in general.

JJ played like arse last night. I'll never defend that. But our other option has not proven to be any better, one slant pass notwithstanding. And I'm not just going on the 2008 season - I'm also including the LA Tech (LA TECH, for God's sake!) game last year and the Spring game THIS year!

JJ is not the answer, but Lee isn't either. This board is going to meltdown in such an epic way come the first interception, and the majority of meltdown is going to come from all the pro-Lee posters of today.

Isn't that is the way this board works.

Again I asked, what is the harm in putting JL in. You state JL from last year and the year before. Lets state facts about Jl this year, Oh wait he hasn't got to play yet!

JJ played like shite last night. it was his worst game as a tiger. the reason i don't want lee to play is that his worst games as a tiger were much worse. the pick six is the most devastating play in the game. it saps the morale of the entire team. i would rather mosey along and eek out wins than to have a schizophrenic existence with Lee as my qb.
