I was at the game last week and left feeling discouraged and defeated.....scratching my head wondering how we ended up in that position.

I've since watched the replay and have completely changed my feelings about that game.
I think some of our "fans" are just dead set on focusing on the negative and blaming the coaching staff no matter the truth.

There was a LOT of good in this game and the play calling was NOT as bad as some of you think.
We left points on the field with the turnovers, but the play calling had us in position to score on those drives.
Love the defense minus the last half of the 4th quarter and Ridley runs with aggression and athleticism. JJ has made some improvement, as well. Nice to see him step up in the pocket and not drift as much.

No doubt, we are a work in progress, but we'll be fine....whether some of you want us to or not

Same here, but can you ever remember going into a Vandy game and not having complete confidence. That is what is bothering me, do I think we lose no, but I and I'm sure alot of other tiger fans have that little bit of doubt. That is the big difference we have now. I hope it all changes this year.

When will these threads stop? There's been a large number of threads describing these same points. There's nothing new here except the description "mass hysteria" which I've not seen until now. It truly is time to "move on."

i guess when people stop responding to them?

although, i agree, it is time to move on.

this team can be pretty damn good if we put it all together for 4quarters.

Do you really not have any confidence going into Vandy????????? New HC and all????????? Sounds like a "you" problem.

Completely agree. Some stuff looked like jitters and nerves.
Fumbles have probably been worked to death this week.
The play calling did get us some serious points and kept the other team guessing.
Hoping that we play more freshmen, BUT only after we have put the team away.
Some penaties seemed overblown and unnecessary. Some penalties killed our momentum.
Jefferson certainly seemed improved from last year to now.
Defensive backfield needs coordination, not a major overhaul.
Randle and both Shepherds impressed me.
I really don't see any team kicking to Patrick Petterson ever again.
And, dare I say it, clock management didn't seem so bad either.

Waiting to see improvement between week 1 and 2.

I think this thread would be drastically different had the unc receivers not dropped two passes in the endzone

I don' t hear anyone wanting to play us. I just hear other fans thinking they now might be able to beat us. Houston Nutt, Bama and Florida has owned a LSU team without a QB the past 2 years. Not any more! We run the table this year much to the dismay of all our detractors including our NegaTigers.

Or that LSU didn't miss a first quarter field goal or that LSU didn't have a touchdown called back.

I don't know anyone going into the Vandy game that isn't confident of a big win- except for a few Vandy fans.
