How good are John Dombrowski (6'5" 250 lbs. OT - and son of NFL great, Jim Dombrowski) and Sean Zemke (6'7" 230 lbs. TE)?

They have Div-1A size, are they going to be Div-1A recruits?

Lakeshore is the new northshore HS, and it took kids mainly from Fountainbleau.

John is only in his third year ever playing ball, he is very raw and needs to add some weight and an mean attitude and he will be good...Sean is going to be a solid D-1 prospect

Based on size or ability? I've seen him play and he looks really awkward to me. I'll be watching a couple of games this year to see their Center Dragna and some others who I heard can really play. I'll keep an eye out for this kid.

We played against them. Zemke is every bit of 6'7. He was not all that physical and did run a little awkwardly, but his hands are pretty good and you can't teach size. Well coached team in general.

Its a shame they didnt have the coaching they have now when they had the talent in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Their losing to JC was because of a botched extra point that would have tied the score. Final was 21-20. Game was intense and Mandeville is still not happy with the outcome. This weeks game is against Rummel and will be the limus test for how good they really are. Lots of juniors and 2 soph players starting this year, with 2011 season looking like the banner year. DL needs to get bigger and stronger. They are very quick and very aggressive. I think District 7 game against ST. Pauls will decide Champion. And yes, you're right, they are very well coached.

a

Actully I went to Mandeville 1998-2002 and our football teams where very good those years so where this is coming from im confused...

1999 we went 7-3 and lost in 1st round of playoff on the road to a great St Amant team by less than a touchdown.

2000 we went 10-0 and prolly had one of the best defenses the northshore has seen in years. We finished the year with for straight shut outs!
We beat Jesuit in the 1st round of the playoffs and then lost to a good Carencro team in the 2nd round.

2001 we went 7-3 that yr and lost to a Justin Vincent led Barbe team in the 1st round of the playoffs when he ran all over us...not because we where bad but he was just that good.

Can this coaching staff your talking of do better??? maybe
But I dont see how it could of been that much better. But Im open for discussion

Im taking it you didnt play, we won what we did based on shear talent buddy. There is a reason why families would move to get out of Mandevilles district so there son wouldnt have to play for this coach.

I played for both staffs....Lecompte and Co. brought an entire diff level of coaching.

Just take a look at the Mandeville Junior High lineup from 2001-2007...then look at the highschools they attended...

Ok maybe some Junior high kids moved whatever...
But what I was saying in my post was that when i was there in the late 90s and early 2000s we had a good teams that had good records every year. What has Lecompte and Co. done with all the great coaching to say that we would have had better records and would have won more games? Especially since we went 7-3,10-0,7-3 during my varsity years.
