Do they not have the technology to show replays on the two huge screens in each endzone? I found this frustrating. Overall my experience in Atlanta was good. Meet some good folks from UNC and LSU. I also talked to some of Josh Williford's family at the tailgate party, good folks and they were all big guys.

I guess not...they sure were sparing with the replays. That part sucked.

Yeah, I was there too and noticed that as well. Annoying.

Some, but they were few and far between. Didn't seem to be any reason to when they showed them. Definitely didn't show any controversial replays.

Yeah, I know one of the rules is not to show any controversial replays that can turn the crowd against the refs. But still, they barley showed any at all.

I always thought that Steve Shaw and his crew were the best in the SEC but sat night really disappointed me. They were not good sat night.

I went to two SEC championships, and i don't remember replays being "censored." It seemed like any time there was a slightly controvesial call, you never saw it. They seemed afraid to have a riot start over a bad call like Peterson and Bama last year.

Whoever operated the camera probably got his training filming his irstchild's birth in the operating room. The close ups were impossible to discern. Then you had a shot of evreybody's head lined up at the line of scrimmage making it look like a jail break on steroids. When they did show an up top shot, you had to look good and chose between live action or the camera because it wasn't going to hit the screen after the play for a second viewing.

Most of the youtube videos were more informative than the camera work in the dome.

Shockingly few replays-screen quality was good enough to second guess a few calls is my guess.

ATL and others-thanks for all the local tips. Really enjoyed the Tabernacle, the afternoon at the Sidebar, the various sponsored and unsponsored tailgates. Rode the MARTA to and from the airport to the Omni-$4.50/RT. Pretty sure I could not teach mass communications if the MARTA was the classroom setting-it was quite an experience. It had been a few years. Still beat the heck out of cabbing it.

And to the fricking LSU fans that took my free chicken sandwich coupon off my seats that I paid for-hope you choke on your chicken.

I think there is a new rule about this. I think if a play is under review you are only allowed to show it once on the jumbotron and not again. They don't want the fans to influence the refs I guess.

I am not sure if that rule applys to all plays or just those under review.

we were close to the unc band. i guess unc put blue and white pom poms in the seats. my 8 year got mad when i was gonna throw mine in the trash . they were coupons for a spicy chicken sandwich, which makes it worse that yours was stolen.

They showed some replays but would never show replays of anything under review...

That's funny. No one around me wanted those things. I picked up about 10 that were on the ground around me as we left the stadium after the game. I've got free chicken sandwiches for the next two weeks...
