I thought that JJ looked good last night, yeah he threw the pick late in the 1st half and grounded the ball BUT he showed vast improvement in his pocket presence and that kid has a CANNON! The shot to RR was impressive and he looked confident. D was a little dissapointing in the 2nd half but we were subbing in young guys so. Crowton is AWFUL and Les looked lost, I hope they improve next week, but overall not too bad. At least we came away with the W!

so let me guess, you are a girl and you are referring to how his arse looked in those tight little football pants.

You can't be talking about how he locks in on one reciever and if it's not there he runs like someone yelled cops.

You can't be talking about his inability to read defenses.

You cna't be talking about his 9 yard drop back.

I'm just wondering, your a chick right?

He looked like shite. poor game management. poor scrambling.
cost us at least a FG attempt VAST improvement? Really in what way?
That pass to RR? RR was open at least 10-20 yds before he released it. He beat his man badly and the defender nearly caught up. RR actually had to alow down.
His release is still LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. He heaved those 2 long passes. He didn't anticipate his receivers open.

One thing he did do better was, he stepped-up a few more times than he did last year. However, there was no "vast" improvement like you state.
Our offense ran a total of 57 plays. Guess what our average was last year?
The O-Line played better than they did last season, of course that was against a depleted D-Line of NC.
Once those 2 LB's came into the game in the second quarter, we couldn't do that underneath stuff and JJ looked exactly the same as he did last year with more time to throw.

We rely to much on the big play

Still undisciplined (personal fouls)

Defense is still bend don't break

This team looks like it hasn't changed much from last year

randle was open and should have been lead more to the middle of the field, but that was a hell of a throw. sounds like you are just looking to criticize everything he does. there were certainly some areas he improved on. however, we still do not look like a very productive offense overall. playmakers need more touches and we need a more reliable running back.

he was his primary receiver and was open for 20 yds. he waits too long to get rid of the ball. he needs to anticipate more. crowton made this comment in the spring about his release. it is not just about throwing it quick. it is about getting rid of the ball.
