how many years has he been on their practice squad? there is a 3 year limit on how long a team can relegate a player to the practice team.

Cardinals waived RB/FB Charles Scott, DE Jeremy Clark, DE John Fletcher, OG Jonathan Palmer, and WR Ed Gant.
Gant is suspended for the first four games, but the Cards didn't deem him worth waiting on, opting for Max Komar. Scott flunked out of two camps, also the Eagles. He's not come close to early expectations after a fine LSU career
