I agree with this. Regardless, a beautiful thing like BBQ should neither be used to promote or disparage a region of the country.

Agree, if you have to slop BBQ sauce on something to make it BBQ then its not BBQ!
North Carolina BBG with slaw on it is some good eating!

.. I like UNC. Oldest ( 1st) public university in U.S. ... ever been to Chapel Hill ? . Its awesome, pal. Beautiful, fabulous campus. .. food could be better, sure ( what can compare to south LA anyway ? ) , but the surrounding "campus town" is great, the beer is cold and flowin' and the chicks are killer ! ... Hey - its a quintessential college town - can't be that bad ... and Smoky Mtns an hour drive away ... nice ...
