A person who observed the Carolina football practice Thursday told WRAL News that several defensive players listed as starters on UNC's depth chart were practicing with the scout team. Among them were DE Robert Quinn, DL Quinton Alton, LB Quan Sturdivant, LB Bruce Carter, CB Kendric Burney, CB Charles Brown, DT Jared McAdoo, DB Curtis Campbell, LB Darius Lipford and S Da'Norris Searcy. One additional player ran with the scout team but could not be identified to make up the 11 players on that defensive team.

I really hope that we somehow face the best that they have to offer.

I couldn't care less either way as long as we win.

Of course the nega-tigers will always spin things to bash Miles

The best of the rest is all that they will offer...7 starters from that defense will likely not be out there next saturday...LSU should score and score at will.

UNC = Duke now

I would not mind seeing this also and it would help with the O's confidence...even if it isn't UNC's starters.

Exactly. I don't care if UNC sends out the cheerleaders and we win 77-0

Whoever they put out there will be D1 caliber players and will not be chumps.

Yes if their starters are not out there, they will not be as good as they could be.

But I don't think that we should be expecting a walkover by an means.

That's one hell of a scout team. There offense should be ready.

i for one don't give a rat's arse what players are on the field as long as we win. a win is a win no matter how you slice it. and hopefully this will give our offense some confidence and get them started on a roll to get through the season

People who are upset about the players being out are total morons. A win is a win no matter how it happens. Ask Bama. Quit caring what people think and just pull for us to win. Every win is crucial this year and i for one am glad we have a slight advantage now. I still don't think it's a big one though with all the inexperienced players we have.

Really, no one say Bama beat Texas w/out Colt. I for think TX would have one with colt, but a win is a win.

What has these guys in all of this trouble? Is this the investigation that Marcel Dareus on our team is mixed up in?

I'm still puzzled why Mack Brown hasn't caught more heat for running the one player he could least afford to lose directly into the teeth of arguably the best defense in the country - when he didn't have to - in the national championship game.

Bama played the hand they were dealt, but Mack Brown lost that game.

Not for the nega-tigers.

I think you can't go out there and play to not get someone hurt. You set yourself up for failure if you do that.

Tiger fans would have been calling for Miles immediate termination though.

Out of all the guys that he identified, how in the world could he not pick out Marvin Austin?
