Les Miles has set LSU back 10 years

LSU is ranked outside of the AP top 15 for the first time since 2000. Not since coming off of the Gerry Dinardo disastrous 3-8 season of 1999 has LSU been ranked so low going into a season. All of the national media respect for our program is now pretty much gone because of Leslie.

If LSU wins the first one vs N.C., they will be in the top 20 in all polls and top 15 in most.
If LSU then also beats WV, they will be in the top 15 in all polls and in the top 12 in many.
If LSU then also beats Florida, they will be in the top 8 in all polls and in the top 5 in many.
Give it a rest. Let the season play out. LSU plays 6 top 25 teams, which is tied for first with Miami, the U.

Every team in the country goes through peaks and valleys. LSU, nor any other team in the country can stay at the top. They had a great 10 yr run, which is alot longer than most schools have. Hopefully they can climb that hill again this season.
