At the risk of being attacked for not having 1,000,000 prior posts, doesn't anyone think that this pissing and moaning has gone for too long? Can anyone remember what it was like to sit in Tiger Stadium and watch other teams take us to the wood shed all too often(Dinardo, Hallman, Archer ring a bell?)? I want LSU to win every game from now to eternity, but it is not going to happen. Do you remember when this was supposed to be fun? My God, if this makes you miserable, quit coming to the games, booing 19 year old kids, and acting like an arse. It will make it much more enjoyable for the fans who remember the bad days enough to appreciate what we have today. Remember we are bigger than any single player, coach, or reporter. We are Forever LSU.

I swear many of the people that do this would rather our team do poorly so they can act out like this. People seem to think it makes them look intelligent or knowledgeable about the game if they can point out faults.

I agree, I sat in Tiger Stadium in all the bad years and if LSU goes 0-11 I'll still sit there proudly.

Very true...It reminds me of when the players, towards the end of camp, talk about wanting to play the game just so they can hit somebody other than each other.

The sun may shine again, but it will only be after we run out of timeouts and time has expired.

Also, don't the leaner years make the big years all that much more sweet? I mean, do you really think Florida State fans enjoyed the 13th season in a row that Florida State finished in the Top 4? I'm sure they were probably bitching about the fact that Bowden "only" won two titles during his tenure there and not enjoying any of it.

How unbelievable was it when the Saints won the Super Bowl last year? The biggest part of that amazing feeling was the fact that we had been so far from the Super Bowl for so long.

I'm not saying I want to lose on purpose so when we win it will be "better." But, how much sweeter would it be to win the SEC this year after being picked fourth in the West by the media. It's that feeling of sticking it in their faces for being so smart and smug all at the same time that would just make it more enjoyable.

I'm ready for the season to start.
